CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE

Civil liability cover for private individuals is compulsory for motor boats and sailing vessels with a sail surface of more than 15m2. Civil liability cover for private persons alone is not enough. Civil liability cover for boats covers civil liability arising from the associated legal implications on the part of the owner, operator, and pilot of the boat, the crew members, helpers and water-skiers, in connection with material damage, bodily injury caused to third parties, in conformance with general insurance conditions.

COMPREHENSIVE COVER

Comprehensive insurance covers damage from natural causes happening on land or water. The following risks are included in addition to those covered under partial insurance: serious deterioration following crashes and collision.

PARTIAL INSURANCE

Complementary to civil liability insurance, partial insurance protects your boat against the risks of theft, fire, heavy snowfall, glass breakage and damage due to the forces of nature (flooding, hail, storms with winds of more than 75km/hr, avalanche, rock falls, landslides and high waters). For a supplementary premium, damage due to the forces of nature can also be extended to cover the mooring place on the water.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Insurance against accidents to the occupants and helpers covers those accidents which happen to people insured in connection with the usage of the boat. An indemnity is paid in case of death, invalidity and bodily injuries.
